Patarei Prison Museum

USSR still exists between these walls built in 1840


Horror of past is concentrated on area of 10 acres, culminating with hanging room. You can see history in every part in this sea fortress turned into state prison. Lavatories, visitor’s cabins, details like old documents and newspapers, posters of long forgotten movies and dead plants are just a short list.
