Kalamaja (house of fish) the wooden house district is just on the way from Marina to City Centre and Old town. On 18th century the area was home to factory and dock workers also fishermen, nowadays it’s a bohemian charmland inhabited with lot of creative people. There is something the other Scandinavian cities have destroyed and regret, something what they can’t get back again...the value of milieu decades ago.
